Bridge Software Engineer (Japanese)
We are looking for a Japanese Bridge Software Engineer who can effectively connect Japanese clients with our development team in Vietnam.
This role goes beyond simply conveying technical requirements — you will act as a solution consultant, bridge engineer, and pre-sales supporter.
You will represent the company during requirement definition, solution consulting, and client development phases with Japanese customers.
1. Job Description
We are looking for a Japanese Bridge Software Engineer to work directly with Japanese clients to:

Gather, clarify, and consult on business requirements (during requirement analysis and basic design phases)

Create and review system design documents (screen layouts, business flows, feature lists, etc.)

Serve as a technical bridge between Japanese clients and the development team in Vietnam

Manage projects: assess risks, analyze scope, coordinate progress and timelines
-
Support Japanese clients in product testing and verifying output quality

Occasionally travel to Japan or provide on-site support for clients
Additionally, participate in pre-sales activities if needed:

Prepare proposal documents, quotations, and client presentations

Support building POCs/demos and present technical solutions
2. Requirements
2.1. Must-have
-
Japanese nationality
-
Minimum 3 years of experience in the IT industry (as a system engineer, BrSE, consultant, or project manager, etc.)

Practical experience in requirement analysis and system design phases (上流工程)

Strong communication and negotiation skills with clients
2.2. Nice-to-have
-
Experience working in an offshore company, especially in Vietnam

Knowledge of technologies such as Web, Mobile, and Cloud (AWS, Azure, etc.)

Basic communication skills in either Vietnamese or English
-
Experience in writing system documentation (UI specifications, API specs, detailed functional specs, etc.)

Existing network/relationships with Japanese companies is a big plus
